Call For Abstracts

Deadline for submitting abstracts has been extended to Friday, August 1, 2008.

Notification of poster and podium presentations will be Friday, August 8, 2008.

Deadline for discounted registration is Friday, August 15, 2008.

Academic and corporate abstracts are encouraged. Podium and poster presentations will be selected on the basis of submitted abstracts. Please fill in the fields for title, list of authors, author affiliations and abstract body on the

abstract submission page

. The body of the abstract should not exceed 2000 characters (not including spaces). Any formatting and images will be lost and automatically changed to Times New Roman 12 point font. Abstracts should be written in similar format to peer reviewed abstracts.

Poster Competition:

This year, Bose has sponsored a poster competition! the winner with the best overall poster presentation will be announced at the conclusion of the conference and will receive a pair of BOSE headphones. A copy of the judging rubric is available

here.

Poster Guidelines:


Poster dimensions are requested to be 3’ or 4’ tall X 3’ wide. For posters wider than 3’ please contact canyons2008@utah.edu to be paired with smaller posters. Poster location assignments will be posted online prior to the conference and available at the registration desk. Posters can be printed at the School of Medicine Rm AC125, contact

Podium Competition:

Podium Presentation Guidelines:


Podium Presentations should be at most 12 minutes in length which will be followed by 2 minutes of questions and answers and 1 minute for speaker transition. There will be a PC laptop available to upload your presentation to before the start of each podium session. There will be a KVM switch available if you wish to use your own computer. Please arrive at the podium session at least 20 minutes early to download your presentation or set up your computer.
