The Department of Bioengineering is excited to announce the launch of a new two-semester course on regulatory affairs. The practical, hands-on course will be co-taught by Dr. Tomasz Petelenz and Dr. John Skousen.

The NIH Grants $6.1 M in Renewed Funding to the U’s Center for Integrative Biomedical Computing

The Center for Integrative Biomedical Computing just received a $6.1 million grant renewal from the National Institutes of Health. The center produces open-source software for image-based modeling, simulation and visualization of biomedical data.

Grainger’s Global Education Efforts Expand

Bioengineering faculty David Grainger will be advising, teaching and working around the world this year – including in New Zealand, China and Washington, DC - through a combination of Fulbright Scholarship funds, visiting faculty funding and appointments as both program advisor for the Peking Union Medical College and chair of the NIH-CSR Blue Ribbon Advisory Panel, bioengineer faculty.
