Registration is being handled by the University of Utah Ecommerce system. Payment by credit card is accepted. Please select your registration option below. Payments made after the August 30th deadline, including onsite registration the day of the conference, will be subject to an additional $25 service charge.

University of Utah Department of Biomedical Engineering first year graduate students

will have registration fees waived. DO NOT REGISTER, instead e-mail the

MWC organizing committee

with your information.

University of Utah Department of Pharmaceutics & Pharmaceutical Chemistry presenters

(poster or podium)

will have registration sponsored by their department. Please follow the specific instructions for pharmeceutical participants

Conference Registration

All registrants are entitled to admission into all sessions of the conference as well as scheduled meals and refreshments as outlined on the program.

Department of Pharmaceutics & Pharmaceutical Chemistry participants:

1. Submit your abstracts through the
   
   Abstract Submission
   
   page for either podium or poster presentations
2. As soon as you have submitted your abstracts please send an email to
   
   Jennifer Clark
   
   in the Dept. of Pharmaceutics confirming that you have submitted an abstract to the conference.
3. When your abstract gets accepted for a podium or poster presentation, your department will sponsor your registration to the conference.
   

Onsite registration by cash or check will be available Friday and Saturday, September 11-12 at the registration desk.

The Biomedical Engineering Department will be covering registration fees for conference sponsors. Please use the online registration links above, or

, to be redirected to the University of Utah ucommerce site to submit registration payment. This link will also allow registrants to pay for hotel accomodations as well. Lodging is NOT included in the registration fee. If you wish to stay at the canyons resort, you must book a room in addition to registering for the conference.

Lodging (We encourage you to make your reservations early)

Reservations may be made online using the University of Utah Ecommerce system (see links below), or at the Canyons Resort by calling their reservations center at 1-888-226-9667. A one night deposit is required for the reservation at the time of booking and final payment will be due at checkout. Mention that you are with the University of Utah 5th Annual Mountain West Biomedical Engineering Conference. Reservations must be cancelled more than (7) days prior to arrival to avoid forfeit charges of one nights lodging. Credit Cards accepted are Master Card, Visa, Discover, American Express, or Diners Club.

Conference presenters (poster/podium) will have lodging expenses paid for a shared room

Hotel check-in time is after 5:00 PM

on the day of arrival. Checkout time is at 12:00 PM on the day of departure. Late checkout fees will apply. Complimentary luggage storage will be available at the front desk for those who arrive early.

All rates are subject to the current county lodging tax of 9.35%, The Canyons Village fee of 2.5% and the Canyons service charge of 4%.
